CROSS CANADA JAX

My name is Jackson Charron-Okerlund. I am 25 years old and from Winnipeg, Manitoba. On March 6th, 2023 I left St. Johns Newfoundland on a Cross Canada Marathon in hopes to raise awareness and funds for cancer research inspired by Terry Fox.

Working in healthcare made me realize how devastating cancer is for millions of Canadians. That is how Coast to Coast for a Cure was born. I wanted to make a difference in the way I knew how. So many amazing Canadians have come to our support for this cause against Cancer.

To help raise more funds and to leave everyone with a token from our journey, the extremely awesome and generous Precision Textiles Inc. has partnered with Coast to Coast for a Cure to create hoodies we can all wear throughout the journey and to keep spreading awareness for such an important cause for years to come.
